I also suggest that Body modifications should be performed by knowledgeable persons who are if possible certified and licensed. New sterile Needles should be used for every client and the environment should be of the same cleanliness. Gun Style piercings should be considered only for earlobes and only if you plan in wearing standard earring types. In my experience no piercer should use Ice or topical anesthetic except in the rarest types of piercings. The use of such devices to numb a region should be considered suspect and questioned. A properly done piercing should be quick, making the need for such techniques unneccesary. Once again, these are my opinions, please seek out your own trusted sources and references as you see fit.
